Business Partners Service Advisory Committee Description

The Business Partners Service Advisory Committee (BPSAC) provides a forum for Business Partners to voice industry issues and concerns to Lender Processing Services, Inc. (LPS) and for LPS to share information on the strategic direction of its mortgage products and services.

Open to all Business Partners, the BPSAC is designed to promote dialogue on the broader issues of data exchange between mortgage servicers and their trading partners, and the role LPS can play to streamline related processes with its information technology solutions.

All Business Partners subscribing to LPS' products and services are invited to participate in meetings of the BPSAC. Meetings are scheduled quarterly, either face-to-face or via teleconferences. Typically, the face-to-face meetings are held at LPS' Information Exchange (IE) and at select industry conferences.

Meeting notices are communicated via email to interested Business Partners. Minutes documenting the content of these meetings are posted on LPS' Business Partners PowerCell website (http://businesspartnerspowercell.lendingsvcs.com).

The BPSAC by-laws were dissolved at the May 1, 2006 meeting at IE and elections are no longer held. LPS appoints a BPSAC chair annually, whose responsibility is to elevate industry issues and concerns to LPS and to help set meeting agendas. Kenny Hargis with Venture Encoding serves as BPSAC chair at the present time.

For more information about the BPSAC, contact your LPS account representative. If you would like to participate on the BPSAC and receive meeting notices, please email your name, company, telephone number and email address to Sabrina Touchton at Sabrina.Touchton@lpsvcs.com.
